Objective: To create up-to-date digital teaching materials in an e-learning format that are suitable for independent study as well.

Eligible applicants: Teaching staff and researchers of the faculty may apply.

Programmes/courses concerned: Compulsory or compulsory-elective courses included in the model curricula of Bachelor’s, Master’s and undivided (one-tier) programmes.

Remuneration:

- For a Hungarian-language digital teaching material

  •  Author’s fee: gross HUF 1,150,000 per teaching material
  •  Professional reviewer’s fee: gross HUF 150,000 per teaching material
  •  Total: gross HUF 1,300,000 per teaching material

- For an English-language digital teaching material

  •  Author’s fee: gross HUF 1,150,000 per teaching material
  •  Professional reviewer’s fee: gross HUF 150,000 per teaching material
  •  Language editor’s fee: gross HUF 200,000 per teaching material (in the case of non-native authors)
  •  Total: gross HUF 1,500,000 per teaching material

- For a teaching material submitted in two languages

  •  Author’s fee: gross HUF 1,150,000 per teaching material + HUF 345,000
  •  Professional reviewer’s fee: gross HUF 150,000 per teaching material
  •  Language editor’s fee: gross HUF 200,000 per teaching material (in the case of non-native authors)
  •  Total: gross HUF 1,845,000 per teaching material


The applicant proposes a professional reviewer; however, the reviewer must be approved by the Head of Institute. The reviewer’s name will also appear on the completed teaching material.

Length and structure: The material should cover one semester of the course in 10–14 chapters/modules; 7–8 manuscript pages per chapter (1 page ≈ 1,250 characters incl. spaces). The content should be divided into clear, manageable units.


Manuscript package components per chapter:

· manuscript (core text with markers indicating where media elements will be inserted),

· review questions / a test for each chapter,

· a unified glossary


Interactivity: Approximately one 2D/3D graphic or interactive animation per 5 manuscript pages; at least 1 interactive element per chapter and 2 videos per chapter (either 2 × 0.5–1 minute or 1 × 1 minute). In addition to simple multiple-choice items, tests should also include tasks such as grouping, ordering, or image selection.

Quality and language: A plagiarism-free, professionally sound text that is clear and accessible for the target audience and edited in line with e-learning principles; explain abbreviations and foreign terms (do not refer to Wikipedia).

Referencing: Provide a consolidated bibliography of the literature used; cite legislation from the National Legislation Database; cite standards with their full identification number, in line with Hungarian practice.

Figures and media: Each figure must include a caption/label and a source; complex figures must be accompanied by a textual explanation; images should include an accessibility description where needed. Recommended technical minimum: 1920×1080; .jpg/.png; video: .mp4/.mov/.avi.

Glossary: Concise, self-explanatory definitions; ensure consistency where there are multiple authors.

Work organisation

  •  Language editing: It is the applicant’s responsibility to arrange language editing in time and to incorporate the edits into the final material.
  •  File management/storage will take place on the institutional cloud storage (with local editing and version control).


Application package (upon submission)

  •  a short course description (≈ 500 characters), including the target audience and how the material can be embedded in the degree programme,
  •  a preliminary outline (expected titles of 10–14 chapters and planned media elements),
  •  project timeline / work plan up to completion and, in the case of an English-language teaching material, how language editing will be ensured.


Evaluation criteria (with particular emphasis): Professional relevance and coverage; e-learning compatibility; feasibility and scheduling.

Evaluation of applications: Faculty management will select the winners from among the applicants and will notify the applicants who have submitted an application by 21 April 2026, electronically, at the e-mail address provided.
